Winnipeg Free Press - ONLINE EDITION

It's a cold one today

Dress really, really warmly if you have to line up for the Jets’ open practice at noon --- it’s -28 C outside.

Gasp.

Still, the wind is only 15 k/h and it’s soaring to -19 C later, with a 30 per cent chance of flurries, says Environment Canada.

It's going down to -29 C overnight, so plug in the car. Monday's high is only -21 C, but by Tuesday we’re sweltering in -12 C, Environment Canada forecasts.
