CHICAGO — The Winnipeg Jets will try to change their luck against the Chicago Blackhawks this evening and keep their hand hot.

The Jets are 5-1 since Paul Maurice took over as coach, including Saturday night’s 5-4 overtime win against the Toronto Maple Leafs at the MTS Centre.

Winnipeg and Chicago have locked up three times this season with the Hawks winning each time and outscoring the Jets 15-5.

The home team will go with Corey Crawford in goal and Al Montoya will play for the Jets.

Game time is 6 p.m. (TSN Jets, TSN 1290).

Winnipeg native and Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews has two goals and three assists in the previous three meetings between the teams this season.

Both teams took the morning skate off. The Jets did not travel to Chicago until Sunday morning, electing to spend Saturday night in their own beds.

The Hawks last played on Thursday, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Minnesota Wild for their second straight loss.
