St. Vital Centre is covered with red carpet and crowded with teens this afternoon as hundreds gathered to meet some top Juno stars.

Cortney Jaworski, 14, hopes to meet Canadian pop sweethearts Tegan and Sara and get an autograph.

"I’ve liked them for a long time and they seem like really nice people," said Jaworski.

The duo were among several musicians who gathered at the shopping centre for Juno Fan Fare to sign autographs, shmooze with fans and even perform.

Also signing autographs are the Trews, Walk off the Earth and Three Days Grace.

Jaworski, standing midway in the long autograph line up, wasn’t sure what she would say to Tegan and Sara when her turn came.

"She’ll probably cry," teased friend Madison Touchette, 15, who was also excited to see the band.

Fan Fare runs until 3 p.m. and is free.
