Kenny Rogers coming to the MTS Centre

Country crooner Kenny Rogers is coming to the MTS Centre with special guest B. J. Thomas.

Rogers has recorded 24 No. 1 hits including The Gambler, Lady, Lucille, Through the Years and Islands in the Stream. He has had a dozen No. 1 albums. His 2011 release, The Love of God, was his 21st top 10 album.

He released a memoir, Luck or Something Like It, last month.

Hit songs by opening act, B. J. Thomas, include Raindrops Keep Fallin' on my Head and Hooked on a Feeling.

The concert is Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, starting at $39.50. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, charge by phone 1-855-985-5000, or by going to www.ticketmaster.ca.
