  • Print

Glenelm School students are all safe in a neighbouring church while firefighters put out a blaze between two walls in the Elmwood elementary school.

The school is located in the first 100 block of Carmen Avenue.

Winnipeg School Division says parents are being notified.

WSD spokesman Dale Burgos said it is not yet known if the fire is related to construction at the school. Fire officials will know soon if the children and staff can return to the school today.
