The Kings (3-0-0) sit alone atop the standings with six points, two up on the Carleton Place Canadians (2-1-0), and have clinched the No. 1 spot heading into the playoff round this weekend.
Jared Morris, Tyler Garrioch, Brayden Cuthbert, Brett Hope and Brent Wold scored for the Kings Tuesday, while goaltender Michael Stiliadis stopped 29 shots to secure the win.
The Kings enjoy an off-day today. They close out the round-robin portion of their schedule with a game against the Yorkton Terriers on Thursday. Yorkton (0-2-0) faces Carelton Place later today.
