LIVE: BP oil spill cam, maps

The Gulf of Mexico is being deluged with oil from a sunken BP oil platform, 5,000 feet below the surface of the ocean.

British Petroleum has agreed to make public a live stream of a video feed from the site. This camera is provided by BP, which notes the live stream "may freeze or be unavailable from time to time."

Below you'll find a Google Map of the affected area; click the boxes to the left of the map to toggle on and off views of the spill area.
