Lake Manitoba woman dies after crash

A 30-year-old female was killed Tuesday night after her vehicle crashed a few kilometres south of Highway 68 at Lake Manitoba First Nation.

The driver, a member of the Lake Manitoba First Nation, was the lone occupant and was found ejected from the vehicle with serious injuries. She succumbed from her injuries later Tuesday night after being taken to Ashern Hospital. Her name will not be released.

RCMP in Ashern continue to investigate the cause of the collision. Road conditions and visibility were not factors and a seatbelt had not been used at the time of the collision.
