Live: Province providing flood forecast at 1:30 today

Provincial officials will be providing their first flood forecast for 2013 this afternoon at 1:30 p.m.

Emergency measures minister Steve Ashton, along with flood forecaster Phillip Mutulu, Steve Topping from Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation, and EMO director of recovery Lee Spencer will provide a forecast and preparations taking place for potential flooding along both the Assiniboine and Red Rivers.

The Free Press will be livestreaming the press conference above.

Deputy minister Doug McNeil will not attend, but Steve Topping will be at the news conference.
