Lots of Lotto cash won in Manitoba

OK, so no one from Manitoba won the really big one. But the consolation prizes won here are nothing short of life changing.

Check your Lotto MaxMillions tickets for Friday's multiple draws. Three winning tickets for all or a portion of $1 million were purchased in Winnipeg. And one was sold in rural Manitoba, according to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation website.

There were two winning tickets for the Lotto Max $50 million prize, but winners in British Columbia and Alberta will split the jackpot.

The jackpot for next Friday's Lotto Max draw will be about $37 million.
