Man arrested after smashing premier's constituency office window

A man was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after he broke a window in Premier Greg Selinger’s constituency office in St. Boniface.

Winnipeg police said officers responded to a complaint at 3:30 p.m. at Selinger’s constituency office at 123 Enfield Cres.

A man had been banging on the office door, demanding to be let in, police said, when he smashed a window.

Police said the man was arrested and will be charged with mischief.

No one was hurt in the incident, including the man who broke the window.
