Person in custody after standoff on Pritchard Avenue

Winnipeg Police Tactical Response Unit leads a female occupant away from a home on Pritchard Avenue near Arlington Street, Saturday.

A short-lived police standoff in the 700 block of Pritchard Avenue Saturday morning ended without incident.

One person is in custody. An injured male was conveyed to hospital in stable condition. There is some indication that a weapon may have been used.

Police are saying little else at this time. The incident played out at about 10:30 a.m.
