Man charged after convenience store robbery

Winnipeg Police arrested a 25-year-old man on Tuesday due to his alleged involvement in the robbery of a convenience store.

On Nov. 28, at approximately 6:50 p.m., a man entered the store in the 400 block of Main Street, jumped over the counter and pushed a 51-year-old female employee to the ground, causing an injury.

John Savage is charged with robbery and failing to comply with probation. He remains in custody.
