A Winnipeg man has been rushed to hospital in "grave" condition following a shooting Saturday afternoon.
Police flooded the 400 block of Pacific Avenue around 5 p.m. after receiving a 911 call from a residence. Sources told the Free Press a man, believed to be around 20 years old, was shot in the back. CPR was started at the scene and paramedics rushed him to the Health Sciences Centre.
Members of the tactical unit were also called to the scene, which has been blocked off.
Police have yet to release any details about the incident. A woman in the area was taken away by police.
