A Shilo-area man was taken to hospital Thursday after the vehicle he was driving collided with a train a few kilometres east of Brandon.
Brandon RCMP say their officers and area emergency services were dispatched to the area around 5 p.m. Thursday.
Their investigation shows a 2006 Toyota Rav4 was headed northbound on Highway 468 when it hit the side of a westbound Canadian Pacific train at a level crossing.
The crossing has crossing signs and flashing lights.
The driver was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries. No one else was in the vehicle and no one else was hurt.
