Elie gas station robbed at gunpoint

RCMP are asking the public for help in catching a suspect who robbed a gas station on the Trans-Canada Highway in Elie on Saturday night.

Headingley RCMP said today man entered the gas station armed with a handgun at about 8 p.m.

RCMP said the man took cash and lottery tickets before taking off in a vehicle waiting outside.

There were no injuries.

The man is described as 5-10, medium build and wearing black clothing. The man’s head was shaved and under his right cheek bone there was a discolouration.
