A man is in stable condition following a late-night stabbing Saturday on Selkirk Avenue.
As many as 10 police and emergency vehicles responded to a call at a side-by-side residence in the 100 block of Selkirk at about 11:30 p.m.
A passerby told the Free Press the victim was able to walk to the ambulance with the help of paramedics.
Police spokesman Const. Eric Hofley said the man was stabbed but in stable condition.
No arrests have been made yet, he said.
