Man, teen charged in series of gunpoint muggings
WINNIPEG - Two men have been charged in connection with four armed robberies that took place yesterday.
At about 7 a.m., a man with a gun confronted a 32-year-old man on the 700 block of Elgin Avenue. The man took the victim’s things and then fled, police said Tuesday.

About two hours later, police said a man with a gun confronted two men and a woman, all 18 years old, in a parking lot on the 600 block of Portage Avenue. The victims were not hurt, said police.
At about 11 a.m., two men approached a 21-year-old man at a parking lot on the 300 block of Portage Avenue. They stole some goods from the man and fled, after one man threatened the victim with a gun.
At about 3 p.m., police said a suspect confronted a 55-year-old man in the 300 block of Edmonton Street. The suspect took the man’s car keys and then fled with another suspect in the victim’s Monte Carlo.
Police saw the vehicle in the 700 block of Logan Avenue and attempted to stop it, said police. The men then abandoned the vehicle in the 700 block of Ross Avenue and ran into the Health Sciences Centre.
Security staff there caught one man, police said, and the second suspect was found by police at about 4 p.m.
Police recovered a shotgun from one of the suspects.
Justin Michael Henderson, 20, is charged with three counts of robbery with a firearm, two counts of disguise with intent, flight from police officer, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and other offences. He is at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
A 16-year-old man is charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm, taking a motor vehicle without consent and other offences.
He is at the Manitoba Youth Centre.
