Masked man armed with butcher knife caught on video as he robs Steinbach store
A masked man armed with a butcher knife robbed a Steinbach 7-11 early today before fleeing on foot clutching $80 cash in his hand, RCMP report.
The RCMP seized video surveillance of the robber in the store.
The robber entered the store shortly after midnight wearing a red and blue-coloured mask with a black hood over his head He demanded cash from store employees while armed with a large butcher knife.
RCMP searched the area without success with the help of a police dog.
The robber is described as Caucasian, 5'6", in his early 20s, with fair skin, light-coloured facial hair and a slim build. He was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, green cargo pants and purple gloves.
