John McDermott, the Scottish-Canadian Irish Tenor, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his professional singing career with a 12-city western Canadian tour that winds up at the Burton Cummings Theatre Friday, April 11, 2014.
McDermott says he gave up his day job on Oct. 5, 1993 in Halifax, when he performed with his own band after a year opening for the Chieftains. Twenty-five albums later, he promises a two-decade retrospective of his career, highlighting songs from early recordings to his latest releases.
Tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster on Monday for $53.50, including service charges.
