Metal band Volbeat at the Burt on June 27
Danish melodic metal band Volbeat was the highlight of last summer’s Rock on the Range festival, but this year it returns to Winnipeg as a headliner.
The Copenhagen-based quartet will play the Burton Cummings Theatre June 27 with supergroup Hellyeah — featuring members of Mudvayne, Nothingface and Pantera — and Tampa’s Iced Earth. Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday for $47.75 at Ticketmaster.
Volbeat released its last studio album, Beyond Hell/Above Heaven, in 2010. Hellyeah has a new album, Band of Brothers, coming out in July.
