Methadone lost in downtown Winnipeg

WINNIPEG - Police are cautioning the public not to use a drug that was lost in downtown Winnipeg last Monday.

Police said a quantity of methadone -  used to help drug addicts - was lost somewhere downtown between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The drug, an orange liquid, was in a clear plastic bottle.

Police are asking anyone who finds the drug to turn it into any police facility.
