Minitonas teens charged after bridge set on fire

Two 17-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with a bridge fire Saturday afternoon in Minitonas, Man.

RCMP said the 4:30 p.m. blaze, which caused major damage and force the closure of the 2nd Avnue bridge, was arson.

On Tuesday, the two youths from the R.M. of Minitonas were arrested. They were released to their parents on a promise to appear. Their first court date is Nov. 6 in Swan River, Man.
