A well-known Steinbach businessman died in a motorcycle collision Monday in Saskatchewan.
John Friesen, the owner of Friesen Drillers, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed near Maple Creek, Sask., about 6:30 p.m., say RCMP.
The 63-year-old was travelling westbound on Highway 1 when the single-vehicle collision occurred. No other vehicles or persons were involved.
Friesen was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Maple Creek but did not survive.
RCMP are continuing their investigation.
