Much-maligned March cold snap continues

If your alarm wasn't enough to fully wake you, that -36 wind chill is sure to jolt you into consciousness in a big hurry this morning.

The good news is a sunny day is expected and the wind chill will diminish slightly to -26 this afternoon. Winds of 40 km/h will be gusting up to 60 this afternoon.

The high today is -11 C.

Tonight will be clear and windy with a low of -18 C and a wind chill of -27.

On Wednesday, it will be mainly sunny and continuing cold with a high of -11 C. Expect more sun on Thursday with a high of -8 C.

Things will be looking up by Friday when the expected high is -5 C.
