Multi-media presentation today examines Ukraine

WINNIPEG — Blood in the Borscht: The Book -- a look at post-Orange Revolution Ukraine through the lens of a poet and a painter -- is the title of this year's Michael and Iraida Tarnawecky Distinguished Lecture tonight at the University of Manitoba.

The multi-media presentation, based on a research project funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, will be given by Janice Kulyk-Keefer, a professor of English at the University of Guelph and Canadian artist Natalka Husar.

The lecture is being held in the Great Hall of St. Andrew's College beginning at 7 p.m..

Admission is free.
