A 61-year-old man is charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 59-year-old woman.
Officials wheeled a stretcher into the Garden Towers apartment building on the 600 block of Jefferson Avenue at Teakwood Avenue this morning, where police say a woman was killed just after midnight.
The victim suffered serious upper body trauma, Winnipeg police say.
