Nice winter we're having this spring

  • Print

Oh yeah, that's a -15 C windchill freezing the smile right on your face this morning.

Spring is not in the air. At least not quite yet.

The few flurries this morning will end this afternoon but it will be a mainly cloudy day with a high of -5 C.

Tonight, the sky will clear with a north wind of 30 km/h becoming light after midnight.

But -- and you are reading this right -- the low expected is -20. You might want to plug in your vehicle.

On Tuesday, there will be sun and a high of -3 C.

We can expect more sun on Wednesday with a low of -13 C and high of -4 C.

There will be more sun on Thursday with a low of -12 C and finally, a high in the plus range of 1 C.

Friday, the low is in the single digits of -8 C and a high of 3 C.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday looks good at this point with a low of -7 C and a high of 5 C but Sunday, not so much. At this point, Sunday's forecast is calling for a cloudy day with a 60 per cent chance of flurries or rain showers. A low of -2 C and a high of 4 C are expected so far for Sunday.
