Nine arrested in Dauphin after hotel robbery

Dauphin RCMP have arrested nine people following a robbery at hotel in that western Manitoba community.

RCMP said Wednesday a group of people, one armed with a firearm, entered the hotel, assaulted an employee and stole cash and liquor. Nobody was seriously hurt, RCMP said.

RCMP showed up at 11 p.m. and arrested nine people and seized a sawed-off shotgun, cash and beer.

No charges have been laid and the investigation continues.
