A Christmas Eve blaze at a West End home was described as "minor," by the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service.
The fire at 727 Lipton St. started about 8:45 p.m. Monday. No one was hurt in the incident, which is still under investigation, said Ted Kuryluk, Fire platoon chief.
"It was minimal, there’s probably some water damage," he said.
The fire caused an estimated $15,000 damage to the building.
