No police tickets for NHL celebrants

Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 1/6/2011 (2015 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.

Police said they handed out no tickets after celebrations Tuesday over the return of an NHL team to the city. Supt. Keith Walker said police officers did not hand out any tickets under the Liquor Control Act, or the Highway Traffic Act.

Walker said four people were taken to the Main Street Project under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act for their own safety.

He said there was also no property damage as a result of the celebrations.
