A single-family home on Ragsdill Road in North Kildonan suffered $400,000 in damage this afternoon, but no one was injured, fire-paramedic services said today.
The fire started on the second floor of a house on the 100 block of Ragsdill Road at about 2:45 p.m., and fire, smoke and water damage spread throughout the house. There was $250,000 in damage to the house and $150,000 to contents.
The cause is still under investigation.
