Another day in Winnipeg means more properties with frozen water lines.
City hall reported this afternoon that another 18 properties lost their water supply because of frozen lines between Thursday and Friday.
This brings the total number of affected properties since November to 2,248.
The number of properties on the waiting list to be thawed climbed only marginally between Thursday and Friday, with an addition of three.
The city was able to restore full water service to 15 more properties between Thursday and Friday.
The total on the waiting list now is 1,352 properties, up slightly from 1,349 reported on Thursday.
The city continues to provide temporary water service to properties. Nine properties were connected to a neighbour through a hose, between Thursday and Friday.
The number of properties without water service of any kind – full or temporary – has fallen for the 10th straight day, now at 648 properties.
