One man dead after Maryland shootings

A 24-year-old man who was shot early Saturday morning on Maryland Street has died.

Homicide investigators have taken over from the Winnipeg Police major crimes unit now that Jordan Dennis Houle has succumbed to his injuries.

He was shot shortly after midnight on Saturday in the 600 block of Maryland. A 19-year-old man who was also shot has been upgraded from serious to stable condition.

Winnipeg police are asking anybody who may have information about the shooting to contact investigators at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
