Victim of fatal Osborne Village stabbing identified
The victim of a fatal stabbing following an Osborne Village bar brawl early Friday has been identified.
Baljinder Singh Sidhu, 27, was found in the area of Stradbrook Avenue and Osborne Street at around 2:35 a.m. Friday, police say. He was taken to hospital in critical condition, but has since died from his injuries.

Witnesses described the scene leading up to the stabbing as a massive brawl that broke out at Ozzy's Bar in the Osborne Village Inn, but spilled into the street.
"Some guy brought out a knife, waving it around and then after that a full fight broke out," said a staff member who asked not to be named. He said shots were fired north of the building and in the ensuing confusion more than 50 people poured out of the bar and into the street.
The staff member said a few minutes later, a man staggered across the street with multiple stab wounds.
Police are still investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.
