Pedestrian struck by vehicle dies; driver faces charges

The pedestrian struck last Friday by a vehicle near Des Meurons Street and Marion Street has died.

Police said the driver of the vehicle, a 74-year-old woman, is facing charges.

The name of the man, 64, has not been released.

Police said officers from the central traffic unit are continuing to investigate.
