Police seek 'person of interest' for questioning in connection with two serious assaults

WINNIPEG--Police have released images of a "person of interest" wanted for questioning in connection with two serious assaults downtown.
On June 13 at 3:45 a.m., police received information about a man seriously assaulted in the 500 block of Young Street. The 45-year-old man had injuries to his upper body was taken to hospital in critical condition. He has since been upgraded to guarded condition.
Nearby, at approximately 4 a.m., police received reports of seriously injured woman in the area of Spence Street and Cumberland Avenue.
The 45-year-old woman was taken to hospital in critical condition, and has since been upgraded to stable condition. She is being treated for serious but non life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police believe the same individual may be responsible for both assaults.
Investigators seized surveillance footage in relation to the first incident which occurred in the area of the 500 block of Young Street. The person of interest is described as male, aboriginal in appearance, early to mid-twenties, approximately 120 to 140 pounds with short, straight black hair, possibly wearing a black hoodie.
Anyone with information regarding the assaults or the identity of the person in the photos is asked to contact investigators at 986-6668 or CrimeStoppers at 786-TIPS (8477).

If I see him I will make a citizens arrest. "He resisted arrest officer, so I had to beat him in to submission"

In order to put people in critical condition I wonder if he had a club of some sort? Most of the newer cameras provide a much better image than this.

I find the person's face is too fuzzy to make out properly. Can you make the clarity more discernible to get an accurate picture of the person. Thanks.
