Point Douglas murder victim identified

The man murdered in Point Douglas Monday has been identified.

Twenty-five-year-old Jeffery Campbell was stabbed in the upper body at about 5 a.m. in a rooming house on the 200 block of Austin Street North. Campbell was transported to hospital in critical condition where he later died from his injuries.

The homicide unit is currently investigating.
