Police find grow-op on Toronto Street

A grow operation including 94 marijuana plants valued at $105,280 were seized by Winnipeg police on Sunday at a residence in the 700 block of Toronto Street.

Police, who had responded to the residence on an unrelated matter, also seized 44 grams of dry marijuana and grow operation equipment worth $2,500.

A 47-year old male is facing charges of possessing substance for the purpose of trafficking and production of a controlled substance. He was released on a promise to appear.
