Winnipeg police continue to guard the scene of a suspicious death on Balmoral Street.

Investigators were at a home in the 200 block of Balmoral earlier this week after a body was discovered late Monday, a police spokesman said.

Police said this morning the body of a woman was found around 8 a.m. Monday.

An autopsy is pending and the investigation is continuing by members of the Winnipeg Police Service homicide unit.
