Police hunt for pair in gas bar robbery

Police are looking for a man and a woman in connection with an armed gas bar robbery Saturday night in west Winnipeg.

At about 9 p.m., the duo entered the gas bar in the 3000 block of Ness Avenue and demanded cash from the clerk. The man appeared to have a gun and the woman may have, too.

The clerk and another person in the store were uninjured.

Police are looking for an aboriginal man in his late teens or early 20s, 5’8" to 5’10" in height with a skinny build. He was wearing athletic pants, a dark hoodie and a dark bandana covering a portion of his face.

The female suspect is also in her 20s, 5’3" in height and 110 pounds. She was wearing a dark hoodie and a bandana concealing a portion of her face.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects should call police at 986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 786-TIPS.
