Police looking for West End legion robbery suspect
Winnipeg police are looking for a man who robbed a West End legion at gunpoint Tuesday morning.
Police said the robbery happened just before 9 a.m. at Legion Branch # 1, 626 Sargent Ave.
A man carrying a firearm confronted an employee and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police searched the surrounding neighbourhood without success.
The suspect is described as about 5-foot-6 tall and weighing about 180 pounds.
