Police looking for missing luggage

Police are looking for a lost bag containing some sentimental items.

The bag was lost last Friday after it fell out a of a vehicle near Ferry Road and Ellice Avenue after leaving the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport at about 5:15 p.m.

The bag is green plastic with a scene of New York City printed on it, along with the image of a yellow taxi cab.

Inside the bag was a scrapbook, a journal, shoes, jewellery and a battery charger for a prosthesis.

Police said the items aren’t worth a lot financially, but have large sentimental value for the owner and their family.

Anyone with information is asked to call 986-3061.
