Police looking for suspects in Pembina assault, robbery
Police are looking for a grey sedan after a 21-year-old man was assaulted for cash.
The robbery happened Tuesday at 7 p.m. after a man took out money from a business on Pembina Highway.
The victim was walking on the 2800 block of Pembina when three men in a sedan came up to him.
Two suspects got out of the car and assaulted the victim, said police, causing him to fall down.
The victim was not seriously injured, but the suspects made off with the man’s wallet.
Police are now looking for a Caucasian man in his twenties with a medium build.
They are also looking for another Caucasian man in his late twenties with a short beard, long brown hair and a heavy build.
The sedan is grey and has four doors, and appears to be a model from the late 1990s to early 2000s.
Anyone with information is asked to call the District 6 Crime Unit at 204-986-2877, or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477 (TIPS).
