Pair use bear spray during robbery on St. Mary's Road

Two armed men robbed a business on St. Mary’s Road early today, police said.

The men entered the business in the 1100 block at about 1:30 a.m., and confronted two employees, aged 37 and 26. The men fired a canister of bear spray before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The first man is described as 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 with a large build, while the other man is 5-foot-7 and a smaller build.

Police are asking anyone with information to phone 204-986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
