Police raid grow-op on St. John's Avenue

A marijuana grow operation was shut down and two men arrested at a residence in the 300 block of St. John's Avenue on Wednesday.

Police seized 476 marijuana plants with a street value of about $530,000, 128 grams of packaged marijuana with a street value of $1,280, grow op equipment valued at $13,000, over $5,000 in Canadian cash and other items associated with the operation.

A 63-year-old male and a 31-year-old male are facing several drug charges. Both were released on a promise to appear in court.
