Police search for man who exposed himself to young girls in St. Vital

Winnipeg police are asking the public’s assistance to track down a man in his 30s who exposed himself to two girls, aged 10 and 17, on a St. Vital street.

The girls, who reported the incident, said the man was a stranger. They said they were walking past him in the area of Gascon Road and Gosford Avenue Wednesday about 7:30 p.m. when he flashed himself. After the act, he just continued on his way.

The girls fled to safety and reported the incident. Neither was hurt physically during the brief encounter.

Police released a description the girls’ reported. The suspect was described as a white man, 30-40 years old, about 5’9’’ tall and stocky. He had short brown hair and a scruffy beard.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 204-986-2857 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
