Police search for suspect in sex assault

City police are looking for man believed to have sexually assaulted a 19-year-woman who was out jogging in Charleswood near Roblin Park Thursday.

The woman was out about 9 p.m. in the area of Harstone Road and Eldridge Avenue when she was groped by an unknown male. The victim yelled and the male fled.

The suspect is described as: Caucasian, 19-22 years of age, 5’7 tall with a medium build.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-2877 or CrimeStoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
