Police searching for missing teen

  • Print

Winnipeg police are seeking the public’s help in finding a missing teenager.

Monica Sonya Carpenter, 16, was last seen downtown on March 14 at noon.

Police said today they consider Carpenter to be a child in need of protection because of her high risk of becoming victimized or exploited.

Carpenter is described as being aboriginal, 5-9, 230 pounds, long black hair usually worn in a pony tail, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing dark blue shoes, blue Winnipeg Jets hoody, and dark blue jeans.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the police Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
