Police seek 2 missing girls

Law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s help in finding two missing girls.

RCMP received word on Saturday that Annabella Mousseau was missing. The 11-year-old reportedly left her residence on the Dakota Tipi First Nation, located a couple of kilometres south of Portage la Prairie, on her bicycle and hasn’t been seen since.

She is described as five-foot-two, 120 pounds with brown hair with blonde highlights. She was last seen wearing jeans, a dark jacket and a dark hat. Her bicycle is blue.

Meanwhile Winnipeg Police said they are looking for Tanisha Shaylene Laporte, who has not been seen since last Wednesday.

The 14-year-old is described as five-foot-four with straight long brown hair and a pierced nose. She is about 120 pounds and was last seen in around 1 p.m. on Oct. 10 in the North End neighbourhood wearing black yoga pants, grey runners and a black hoodie.

Anybody with information on either of the girls is asked to call the Winnipeg Police Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.
